On the Verge of Extinction?

Lately, there has been a lot of talk in the scientific community about an asteroid called ‘2024 yr4’. There were fears that the asteroid could strike our planet and cause great destruction in the year 2032.

However, after studying the asteroid for two months, scientists now say that the asteroid poses no threat to our planet.

This news had me thinking about one particular species that were wiped out by an enormous asteroid. The dinosaurs first appeared on the earth over 200 million years ago and around 66 million years ago, an asteroid about 6 miles wide struck the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico. This massive impact caused ecosystems to die off, and with no plant life the dinosaurs died off due to starvation.

History tends to repeat itself. We homosapiens are the dominant species on earth right now, just like the dinosaurs once were. What if we were to suffer the same fate?

There could be survivors, but I don’t think that our popluation will ever reach 8 billion again.

Eat The Rich!

It was French Queen Marie Antoinette who was rumored to have famously said ‘let them eat cake!’ Now the modern elites are telling the common folk to eat bugs!

I was disgusted when, I heard in the news, that the U.N and European commission recommends that people eat crickets, worms and locusts!

Little critters that will surely fill you up (yeah right!) instead of bread, meat and vegetables. Not even a vegan diet will suffice!

The two excuses being the war in Ukraine and our doomed environment.

Because Russia, in response to the sanctions, has banned “unfriendly states” from exporting fertilizers, which has resulted in a reduction in the production of vegetables, cereals, etc., but also banning the export of cereals, which has resulted in a reduction in animal feed. And the other excuse being the environment. We eat too much meat. Animals need a lot of food to be fed. etc.

Not even during the second world war where millions died from the famine, did any government recommend this type of diet seen mostly Asian cultures.

This had me asking myself a few questions. Are these elites are trying to make us westerners more like the Asians? Are they that desperate? Have they ‘lost their marbles’?

The answers: ‘Yes, yes and most definitely a yes!’

I Know that there will be people, who stupidly do what every authority figure or celebrity puppet tells them to do because they are like sheep and blind bats.

But, what they need to understand is that while they are eating their ‘delicious’ worm and locust salad and feeling guilt- free, as they believe that they are saving the environment, behind closed doors the elites in Brussels and elsewhere will be enjoying their steaks, caviar, cheese and wine!

Then again, if famine strikes and we are craving meat we could just eat the rich! The wealthy are well-fed, full of nutrients and a good source of protein!

Revolutionary Times

These are scary, and unsettling times, but exciting times as well.

We have so far witnessed many historical events and there may be many more to come.

Starting with the covid-19 nightmare and fiasco that spawned the ridiculous vaccinated vs. unvaccinated war. To worldwide extreme weather events, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.

And now the global uprising of people who are tired of the restrictions imposed on them by their governments which in some countries like here in Greece, where the restrictions were the strictest in the world, are still in effect two years after the first covid-19 cases.

Two years of fear, panic, and paranoia and death. But, distant deaths as I don’t know of anyone who died of covid.

It is without a doubt that so called ‘democratic’ governments have abused their power and have become more authoritarian over these past few years. These elitist leaders come from wealthy families and are extremely out of touch with the working class people, which is the majority of the population!

In Canada, the truckers have taking over Ottawa demanding the end to the vaccine mandates. Prime minister Justin Trudeau called them a ‘fringe minority’ a highly inaccurate estimate. He disrespected their right to protest because anyone who disagrees with their leader is a an ‘extremist’ and the word ‘Nazi’ gets thrown around far to easily these days. A leader that is voted by the people should enter into a dialgogue with the people but an elitist snob would never!

And if all that wasn’t bad enough we have the looming threat of World War III. So much to look forward too! Any person would be naive to think that these governments are buying and making weapons of mass destruction just so they can gather dust and rust in the rain.

Humans will never learn so let the aliens invade, and take over. I’m sure they’ll do a better job of leading the way!

Dooms day ‘preppers’ worldwide can be heard saying ‘I told you so!’

I heard some predictions that this year would be the year that we will be grappling with fear and it shockingly came true. Fear and panic is the wrong way to deal with this crisis. It can weaken your immune system and make you  more vulnerable to illness. It can reek havoc in society.  I hope that the world can get through this crisis in the most humane way possible.

The World Needs to Chillax

It’s an anthropomorphic world! Eww the world has some very ugly feet 😉

Μy drawings were inspired by the recent catastrophic events of the past few years. It seems like the whole world is on fire. From the Amazon to the Arctic to Europe, Australia and Africa. The melting of the glacier in Iceland. So many terrible chain of events. It’s so depressing. If only the arrogant world leaders were all environmentalists. What a better world it would be.

Είναι ένας ανθρωπομορφικός κόσμος! Ο κόσμος έχει πολύ άσχημα πόδια. 😉

Τα σχέδια ήταν εμπνευσμένα από τα πρόσφατα καταστροφικά γεγονότα των τελευταίων ετών. Φαίνεται ότι όλος ο κόσμος καίγεται. Από τον Αμαζόνιο στην Αρκτική στην Ευρώπη και την Αφρική. Η τήξη του παγετώνα στην Ισλανδία. Τόσα πολλά τρομερά γεγονότα, το ενα μετα το αλλο. Είναι τόσο καταθλιπτικό. Εάν μόνο οι αλαζονικοί ηγέτες του κόσμου ήταν όλοι περιβαλλοντολόγοι ο κόσμος θα ήταν ένα καλύτερο μέρος.

Miracle Melon/Θαύμα με το Καρπούζι

During the hot summer months in Athens my mother liked to sit on the balcony in the afternoon and eat pieces of watermelon.  This would be her last summer of doing just that. She had this bad habit of spitting out the seeds. Many of them would stick to the marble floor. But, there were some seeds that landed in the pot in front of her. A pot that I had planted a yucca in.  By some strange miracle the seed germinated just a few weeks ago and a  watermelon vine started growing. And now there is a cute little watermelon growing from the vine!  I have tried countless times to plant seeds in these pots and most of the time they have not germinated. It’s a hit or miss with seeds, that’s why the more seeds planted the better chance of success. So my family and I were shocked that this seed actually germinated. It was such a funny, yet comforting thing to have happen close to a year after her passing. Perhaps it’s a message that life continues and to flourish and to grow and not to give up even in difficult circumstances.

Savages!/Αγριοι!

The old man sat on his chair with a look of confusion and sadness worn on his face.

“What’s is it?” I asked

“I had a crazy dream last night. I’ll never forget it.”

“Alright. So what? I can tell you a million crazy dreams that I’ve had. Don’t let whatever you saw bother you too much.” I said to the old man/ I was worried that the old man was going to give himself a stroke.

“Let me tell you about the dream. I bet you’ve never seen or heard of this kind of dream before in your life!”

The old man proceeded to tell me his dream with great enthusiasm.

“It took place in Egypt in one of the pyramids. A group of archaeologists had just uncovered a tomb belonging to a pharaoh from four thousand years ago. When they opened the tomb the mummy opened his eyes. The archaeologists were shocked. The mummy slowly sat up in his grave and his bandages began to fall off.  He asked for a translator. In the next scene he was looking out at the landscape of the world. Looking at all of the chaos. Then the pharaoh angrily exclaimed ‘savages, those people are savages!”

I looked at the old man with a look of disbelief.

” You’re kidding me now?”

“Why would I kid?” said the old man with an air of annoyance.

“He was so angry. “Savages” said the Pharaoh!”

I didn’t know what else to tell the old man. But, that he was right I had never heard of such a dream before.

Later that week I came across an article about a four thousand year old tomb of a pharaoh that had been uncovered. Chills poured down my body. The old man knew nothing of Egyptology how could he have guessed the date correctly?

I sometimes wonder about our ancestors-all of our ancestors. What do they think of us modern humans? They cannot be pleased with what we have done to the planet and how we treat each other.

This is a  message from the beyond that they are horrified by what they are seeing on this earth.
