We may not be getting a polar vortex or arctic blast in the Mediterranean, but this has to be the coldest winter that I’ve ever experienced in Greece.
I am counting down the days till spring. If it ever comes..

“Climate change is happening, humans are causing it, and I think this perhaps the most serious environmental issue facing us.” – Bill Nye (the Science guy)

A shot of the moon a few hours before it became a ‘super blood wolf moon eclipse’. The moon was visible here in Greece, even though it was cloudy. Unfortunately the action started at 4:30 am here in Greece, and I needed my snooze so I lose ;(
Boy was that moon bright!

A ‘cool’ photo of a rose kissing snow (love this shade of pink) with a two layered background, rose stems and bokeh. I didn’t expect a good result from this shot. Photography is magic 😉

The sunny morning after the rare snowstorm in Athens was a great opportunity to capture a few shots.
Η ηλιόλφανεια το πρωί μετά τη σπάνια χιονοθύελλα στην Αθήνα ήταν μια μεγάλη ευκαιρία για να τραβήξω μερικες φωτωγραφιες.

The new year brought a new winter storm named ‘Telemachos’ (named after a character in Greek mythology) to Greece. It snowed in the Attiki region of Greece for the first time in years. The rest of Greece is worse than Canada-yikes! I wanted to make it up those mountains take some pictures, but the traffic is insane.
More ‘icy’ photos to come.

Happy New Year! May the new year bless everyone with love, good health, and prosperity.
It was a very rainy and windy New years eve here in Athens, but the weather didn’t stop the beautiful fireworks display from happening all over the city.
I am very glad to let 2018 go as it was a very challenging year for, not only myself, but for the whole world. I am so thankful for this blog as it has helped me remain motivated and focused on my creative pursuits. Thank goodness for creativity!
The world can seem so dark, and life can be such a disappointment sometimes; people can be so cruel, but the beauty of art and nature balances it all out.
Stay strong no matter what the new year may bring. 🙂
