A little pigeon came for a visit. Looks like he was resting after a fight with my cat. Luckily, this birdy escaped.
Ένα μικρό περιστέρι ήρθε για μια επίσκεψη. Φαίνεται σαν να ξεκουραζόταν μετά από μια πάλη με τη γάτα μου. Ευτυχώς, δραπέτευσε.

Greek Idol!/Ελληνιδα Eίδωλο!
Last night, I was lucky enough to finally see my Greek idol Marina and the Diamonds live in Athens for the first time. Her show was incredible and she is fantastic! SO underrated! She spoke in fluent Greek, and she said that we were her best crowd of the tour, because of course we were! However, my excitement deminished my chances of taking a decent picture, plus some guys’ head was always in the way. It was a full venue and everyone had some well deserved fun. Hope she comes back to Athens again 🙂

A few photographs taken at a cat festival last month here in Athens. All of the cats were so cute. It’s so crazy how many different breeds of cats there are. It was very informative, plus lots of free stuff for Angelo!

White Roses/Λευκά Τριαντάφυλλα
My fake white rose vase is a home decor project that I made recently. It is very simple and easy to make. Just get some coffee filters, pipe straws and painters’ tape, and green acrylic. The roses looked so real that my cat sniffed them! I was flattered 😉
As for the vase I hot glued beans on to the glass square vase and spray painted the beans with a sliver metallic spray paint.
Το ψεύτικο μου βάζο απο λευκα λουλούδια είναι ένα άλλο διασκεδαστικό έργο DIY για τη διακόσμηση του σπιτιού που έκανα πρόσφατα. Είναι πολύ απλό και εύκολο στην παρασκευή. Απλά πάρετε κάποια φίλτρα καφέ, καλαμάκια σωλήνα και την ταινία ελαιοχρωματιστές, και πράσινο ακρυλικό. Τα τριαντάφυλλα φαινόταν τόσο αληθινά που το γάτη μου τα μύρισε!
Όσο για το βάζο μου ζεστό κολλημένα τα φασόλια και τα σπρέι τους βαμμένα με μεταλλικό σπρέι.
Collage Mosaics/Κολάζ Ψηφιδωτά
Some tiny works of art made from torn papers from magazines. The collage mosaic on the left depicts a beach scene and the mosaic on the right an olive branch.

Heart Strings
Sometimes I like to get crafty, especially after I go on my Pinterest binge. I saw this idea and I had to try it. You only need a piece of wood, some string and nails. It’s a noisy piece of artwork to make, but I think that it’s worth it, and it looks great on my wall 😉
Happy Valentines day! A day that has evolved from a day that was exclusively for lovers to a day where everyone can be shown some love; as love comes in different forms not just romantic 😉
